Join the world of ceramics
You can participate in all courses without any prior experience. However, we recommend taking a course if you're becoming a member, so you can get a good introduction to clay and tools with guidance – especially if ceramics is new to you. Members also have the opportunity to join group workshops, where they can receive teaching and tips, so you won't be left on your own.
There are limited spaces available in the studio, as we want to ensure everyone has enough space to work peacefully. Courses are offered in both Finnish and English. You can find more details about prices and dates in our course shop – and while you're there, you can sign up for courses or grab a membership!

Membership for Independent Ceramic Work
Ceramics is more than just working with your hands – it's our way of relaxing, getting inspired, and bringing mindfulness to the moment. Dopamine Lab was born from the desire to offer a space where everyone can find their own creative rhythm and experience clay shaping in their hands. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced maker, here you can create in your own style, in a relaxed and inspiring environment.

daypass
Drop-in session for independent work
With a day pass, you can work in our open studio for one full day. You'll have access to all tools for both hand-building and wheel-throwing.
Clay can be purchased on-site as needed for €10/kg (includes engobes, glazes, and firings). All pieces will be glazed with a clear, food-safe glaze.
If you’d like to glaze your piece yourself using our colorful powder and brush-on glazes, you can book a separate glazing session for €15/session.

nerikomi
Nerikomi is a Japanese ceramics technique that combines different types of clay to create beautiful, multicolored patterns. Nerikomi allows for creative expression and is a great way to explore colorful ceramics while also developing your technique and design skills. On this course, you’ll have the freedom to choose what you want to create! Whether it’s a bowl, serving dish, or something else – you name it!

OPEN WORKSHOP
The open workshop is perfect for first-timers and anyone who wants to try ceramics without pressure. You’re free to use your imagination along with the studio’s molds, tools, and guidance from instructors. In this workshop, you can shape pieces that are meaningful to you—whether it’s tableware, decorative objects, or even the chip-and-dip bowl that went viral on our TikTok!
The workshop includes all necessary materials, instruction, engobe colors, and finishing (firing and glazing). Welcome to create your own ceramics in a relaxed atmosphere!

Welcome to relax and get inspired! You’re welcome to bring your own drinks – whether it’s wine, soda, raspberry juice, or anything else that helps you enjoy the evening. Drinks are not available at the studio, but all the necessary materials are provided on-site. The events are for adults only (Age limit is 18).

We’ll provide ideas, tools, and encouraging guidance – all you need to bring is yourself (and maybe a bit of holiday spirit)! Gifts will be ready for pickup from the studio well before Christmas!
