Join the world of ceramics
You can participate in all courses without any prior experience. However, we recommend taking a course if you're becoming a member, so you can get a good introduction to clay and tools with guidance – especially if ceramics is new to you. Members also have the opportunity to join group workshops, where they can receive teaching and tips, so you won't be left on your own.
There are limited spaces available in the studio, as we want to ensure everyone has enough space to work peacefully. You can find more details about prices and dates in our course shop – and while you're there, you can sign up for courses or grab a membership!
Our ceramic workshops are generally conducted in Finnish, but we are happy to provide instruction in English at all of our workshops.

Ceramics is more than just working with your hands – it's our way of relaxing, getting inspired, and bringing mindfulness to the moment. Dopamine Lab was born from the desire to offer a space where everyone can find their own creative rhythm and experience clay shaping in their hands. daypass
Drop-in session for independent work
With a day pass, you can work in our open studio for one full day. You'll have access to all tools for both hand-building and wheel-throwing.
Clay can be purchased on-site as needed for €10/kg (includes engobes, glazes, and firings). All pieces will be glazed with a clear, food-safe glaze.
Day passes are available Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Bookings can be made via email: info@dopaminelab.fi
The day pass does not include instruction, so using the studio with a day pass requires prior experience in working with ceramics.
OPEN STUDIO – MEMBERSHIP
Our Open Studio offers a relaxed and inspiring space for independent ceramic work. It is suitable for both beginners and more experienced pottery enthusiasts.

With a Day Pass, you can work independently in our studio during the following hours:

nerikomi
Nerikomi is a Japanese ceramics technique that combines different types of clay to create beautiful, multicolored patterns. Nerikomi allows for creative expression and is a great way to explore colorful ceramics while also developing your technique and design skills. On this course, you’ll have the freedom to choose what you want to create! Whether it’s a bowl, serving dish, or something else – you name it!

OPEN WORKSHOP
Our Open Studio Workshop is perfect for beginners and anyone who wants to get creative with ceramics without any pressure. During the workshop, you’ll create your own pieces by hand using different hand-building techniques. You’re free to let your imagination run wild and make use of our studio’s moulds, tools and the guidance of our instructors.
In this workshop, you can make whatever feels meaningful to you — whether that’s your own unique dishes, decorative pieces, or even our viral chips & dip bowl that’s been trending on our TikTok!
The workshop includes all necessary materials, guidance, ceramic slip colours, as well as the finishing work afterwards, including glazing and firing.
Come get creative and make your own ceramics in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere!

Welcome to relax and get inspired! You’re welcome to bring your own drinks – whether it’s wine, soda, raspberry juice, or anything else that helps you enjoy the evening.
Drinks are not available at the studio, but all the necessary materials are provided on-site. The events are for adults only (Age limit is 18).
